Kiradech Aphibarnrat has been lights out since September. The 28-year-old Thai has put himself in the mix to win several times lately and has seven top-25s in his last nine starts.

He also has two T2 finishes, including one at last week’s DP World Tour Championship where he was in the 60s all four days.

Aphibarnrat has had modest success in Hong Kong. He missed the cut last year, but he has three top-30s early in his career, including a T7 in 2011.

Aphibarnrat is 20th in putts per green in regulation, 33rd in GIR and 35th in sand saves.

This week will be his fifth start in as many weeks. The other time he played five in a row, Aphibarnrat tied for 20th against a good field at the British Masters in his fifth start.

He hasn’t found the winner’s circle since his three-win 2015 campaign, but Aphibarnrat is trending toward getting back there sooner rather than later.
