Will there be a Race to Dubai hangover? Tommy Fleetwood had to pour everything in to fend off a hard-charging Justin Rose to win the season long points standings. Now with $1.25 million in his pocket, it’d be hard to blame Fleetwood for mailing it in this week.

With that said, he’s shown no signs of slowing down this year. The 26-year-old Englishman’s won twice in 2017 and recently owns six top-25s in a row.

Fleetwood tied for third in his UBS Hong Kong Open debut in 2016. He delved into his strategy at Hong Kong Country Club after his third round last year:

"“You don’t have to be aggressive; you have to hit in the fairway, and you can make birdies because you can control your second shot into the green, and generally, you want to be below the hole,” Fleetwood said in a transcription by ASAP Sports. “You don’t have that many long irons, and you have mid to short irons in and from there you can give yourself chances. “"

Fleetwood is first in greens in regulation (77.4 percent) and ninth in driving accuracy. If he can hole putts (226th in putts per round) and fend off fatigue, Fleetwood could get off on the right foot to defend his Race to Dubai title in 2018.
