The Sentry Tournament of Champions brings the PGA TOUR back from its (not so long) winter break. Who has the potential to rise up from “sleeper” to champion at Kapalua?

Welcome back to real golf! The Sentry Tournament of Champions kicks off the new PGA TOUR year in style. Given each of the 34 players in the field won last season, it’s hard to classify any of them as deep sleepers. Nonetheless, it isn’t too difficult to tell the difference between a guy like Dustin Johnson and a recent Web.com Tour grad like Austin Cook.

Golf bettors and fantasy players are chomping at the bit to see how the action at Kapalua in Maui plays out. There’s been a strong run of players in recent years who’ve emerged victorious in the 72-hole, no cut event. That’s not to say someone can’t break the trend and tack on another year to their PGA Tour exempt status with a win.

Read on for five picks to make some noise in Hawaii.
