Kyle Stanley will look to carry over fine fall form into the new year. He went T21 at the CIMB Classic, T19 at the CJ Cup and T5 at the WGC-HSBC Champions.

In 2017-18, the 30-year-old is third in driving accuracy and fifth in greens in regulation. He’s proven he can sustain those types of numbers as he was 13th and second, respectively, last season.

He was also fourth in proximity to the hole, which could help him separate from a lot of the field who will be reaching the green as well as negate some of his low putting stats.

One red flag is Stanley’s 30th out of 30 finish in his debut at Kapalua in 2013. We’ve since learned that was the beginning of Stanley’s decline for a few years, but he’s back to playing well.

Stanley won the Quicken Loans National last year and had five total top-tens, one being a T4 at the PLAYERS Championship.

He’s inside the top 50 in the world, so he won’t have to sweat out trying to get into the Masters with a strong winter.
