Over the last decade, Marc Leishman has a sparkling record at the Sony Open. The only thing left to round it out is a win.

The 34-year-old Aussie will be going for his ninth top-40 in his many trips this year with a solo fifth in 2014 his top finish. He tied for 20th last season.

Leishman continues to play his most consistently excellent golf of his career. In 2017, he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the BMW Championship to go with a slew of other top-20 finishes.

To begin the 2017-18 wraparound schedule, Leishman took Justin Thomas to a playoff at the CJ Cup, “slipped” to a T38 at the WGC-HSBC Champions and went T4 at the Aussie PGA before last week’s T7 at the Sentry.

Driving accuracy last season was one of Leishman’s few weaknesses (125th), but he knew how to escape with his wedges (17th SG around-the-green) and putter (37th SG).

It appears his offseason of rest and TopGolf has Leishman ready to roll again now in 2018. Look out for him come major championship season.
