Followers of the European Tour week in and week out have gotten to know Chris Paisley quite well this year. The 31-year-old Englishman has been on fire since the calendar switched to 2018.

He began the European Tour season with a three-shot win at the BMW South African Open and showed no signs of slowing with fifth-place finishes at both stops in the UAE.

Prior to 2018, Paisley had five top-fives with no wins in his three years primarily on the European Tour.

"“Yeah, it’s been incredible, incredible. Obviously my game’s been in good shape,” Paisley said after last week’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic. “Put in three really good performances, that’s kind of so far above and what I’ve done before, really. I’ve had sporadic good results in the past. I’ve had a few third places. But to have three really consistent, good weeks, I hope it’s a sign of my game getting to that next level.”"

Paisley (72-70-71-71) was solid in his T41 finish at the 2017 Maybank Championship but just couldn’t get a low round going despite finishing top-20 in the field in putts per round.

Paisley’s climbed nearly 200 spots in the world rankings. At his pace, he’ll be gunning for a few more top-fives to approach the top 50.
