Adam Scott’s been a full time pro for 15 years, but Pebble Beach has rarely found its way onto the Aussie’s schedule. Scott tends to play few and far between until the major season draws closer.

Nonetheless, he’s giving it a go for his first start of 2018.

After a stellar 2016 where he won twice, Scott failed to record a top three in just 19 starts. His paper thin schedule was chalked up partially to the birth of his son, Byron.

It’ll be nice to see Scott, 37, tee it up more this year and there’s no reason he can’t jump up and win another major or two.

At a former major championship venue, Pebble Beach, Scott tied for T52 here in the AT&T Pro-Am and missed the cut at the US Open the same year.

Rust could be a factor for Scott in his first start since the Australian PGA Championship. With that said, he hasn’t missed a cut in the last five stroke play events that opened his year. In two other no-cut events that opened his season Scott placed in the top 10.
