There was a time when Alfonso Ribeiro would do anything – anything – to distance himself from his iconic “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” character, Carlton Banks.

Thankfully for those of us who have fond memories of him in that role, those days are over. IF anything, Ribeiro seems more than willing to bust out his signature dance to Tom Jones’ “It’s Not Unusual”, at least when the moment calls for it.

When you get Ribeiro on the links, there’s often plenty of cause for celebration. The 46-year-old is a long-time golf nut, and last year said he played to just a 3-handicap. If there’s a high profile celebrity event or pro-am, you’re likely to see Ribeiro in the field, and he’s not just chasing appearance fees, either.

Ribeiro has plenty of game, and he’s sure to bring the fans out in droves. Events like this are supposed to be fun, but it’s about a hundred times better when the celebrities can actually hang to some degree. This won’t be any Charles Barkley type of run.

Oh, and we’ll just leave this one right here too, even though JT is off this week, likely investing in more camouflage suit pieces and bandanas.
