At 24 years old, Ollie Schniederjans is off to a fantastic start in his sophomore season on the PGA TOUR. In seven starts so far in the 2017-2018 campaign, he’s already scored a pair of top-ten finishes (both in his last three starts) and three more top-25s along the way.

It’s a promising beginning to a blossoming career for the Georgia Tech alum, and he looks to build on that this week in a star-studded field at Riviera. At a course known for rewarding experience in a big way, he is primed to step up.

In his debut at last year’s Genesis Open, Schniederjans went 68-69-69-68, one of just two players to accomplish that feat (runner-up Scott Brown was the other). Schniederjans tied for eighth place in another powerful field, so he should be more than ready to hold his own in LA this time around.

That’s a big part of his daily fantasy value this week, too. At just $7,600 on DraftKings, the value is too good to ignore, regardless of your approach at the top-end of the roster. Riviera is known for relatively tight fairways, but with the rough kept fairly tame, it’s almost a pure second-shot course. That’s where Schniederjans has been shining in 2018. Even though he’s just 72nd in fairways in regulation, he ranks 15th in strokes gained: approach the green, and 43rd in overall proximity to the hole.

If Schniederjans gets on a little bit of a hot streak with the putter (currently 53rd in Strokes Gained: Putting) there’s no telling how big of a return you’ll get on this moderate investment.
