It can be hard to believe Jeunghun Wang is still just 22-years-old. With his first win coming at the 2016 Trophee Hassan II, he’s practically a European Tour veteran in 2018.

By winning in back-to-back weeks and again in Jan. 2017, Wang appears here to stay.

The South Korean comes to Oman with a week of rest and three made cuts in as many weeks prior. Wang made a bountiful trip to the United Arab Emirates, tying for 15th in Abu Dhabi and for sixth in Dubai.

Wang is 50th in greens in regulation and much of his stats early in 2018 really aren’t too impressive. His short game has been awfully sharp, though, at third on the European Tour, up from 47th at the end of 2017.

It may be tough for Wang to keep up that pace around the greens. By the same token, he’s bound to cut into his 1.8 putters per GIR that ranks 175th. When both level out and he gains more experience, Wang could become even more of a consistent threat on the European Tour.
