DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – JANUARY 27: Alexander Levy of France plays his second shot on the 16th hole during day three of Omega Dubai Desert Classic at Emirates Golf Club on January 27, 2018 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. (Photo by Ross Kinnaird/Getty Images) /

Alexander Levy is one of the top-ranked players in the field this week as he seeks to continue to earn European Ryder Cup team points.

The Frenchman hasn’t missed a cut since September. Two of his three top-10s in that span have come in his last two events: seventh in Abu Dhabi and fourth in Dubai.

An aggressive player like Levy shouldn’t find too much trouble getting his way around Al Mouj this week.

Levy is 15th on the European Tour in greens in regulation, 12th in putts per GIR, and 36th in scrambling. His driver can get him in trouble, but his irons should be able to save him on this course.

Levy enters with a week of rest after a T55 at the Maybank Championship in Malaysia.
