Young Shubhankar Sharma is the only player inside the top 10 in the Race to Dubai to enter this weekā€™s field. His lead atop the rankings will likely be safe another week.

Sharma can help his cause by keeping up his dominant stretch of golf ā€“ and finishing ahead of No. 11 in the Race to Dubai, Alexander Levy, if Sharma can help it.

Last weekā€™s missed cut at the Oman Open notwithstanding, the 21-year-old Indian has won twice since December. Both his win at the Joburg Open in December and at the Maybank Championship earlier this month were won by multiple shots.

Sharmaā€™s played primarily in Asia in his young career, but expect to see him spread his wings before too long starting with the WGC-Mexico Championship next week.

This week will be his Qatar Masters debut. Heā€™ll seek to follow in the footsteps of the defending champion, Jeunghun Wang, who won as a 21-year-old in 2017.

Speaking of Wang, continue on to hear about his chances on the next slide.
