Anirban Lahiri has moved on to the brighter lights of the PGA Tour, but there’s no way he’d miss this event.

A winner at the 2015 Hero Indian Open at Delhi Golf Club in 2015, Lahiri will go for another victory at DLF.

A first-round 76 put him in too big of a hole to contend in 2017. He was able to rally for a T5 by the leading the field the final two rounds with a 67 and 71.

Lahiri played to his strength on the greens last year, placing seventh in the field in putts per GIR.

Lahiri enters the week having made seven of eight cuts in the 2017-18 PGA Tour season. He played well on the Asian Swing, picking up a top-10 in Malaysia and South Korea.

Lahiri also tied for second at the 2015 Hero Indian Open.

If he can use his adoring crowds to his advantage again this week, Lahiri could make for a fourth straight Indian to win their home event.
