PGA Tour player Emiliano Grillo is returning to his European Tour roots this week. The Hero Indian Open is a new one, though, for the 25-year-old Argentine.

That shouldn’t matter much given the newness of DLF. Talent has a better chance to win out this week, and Grillo’s got it.

A winner on the Web.com Tour and PGA Tour in recent years, Grillo is off to a nice start to his 2017-18 campaign. Grillo has made the weekend in six events with a cut and hasn’t done worst than a tie for 57th at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

He tied for ninth at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba and fared well against a tough field and course, tying for eighth.

Grillo will want to work on his short game (192nd on the PGA Tour in strokes gained around-the-green), but he has positive marks across the rest of the board.
