A strong end of 2017 hasn’t quite made for a fast start to 2018. Since tying for fourth at the Tournament of Champions, Fowler’s been mediocre by his standards.

He’s made just four other starts with a T11 in Phoenix his best finish.

Now that his workload’s increasing, Fowler should begin rounding into shape. His ballstriking has been fine (12th on Tour in GIR), he just needs to get the putter rolling again (138th strokes gained putting).

He’s played well at Bay Hill before, posting a career-best T3 in 2013. He’s made five of six cuts with the five all inside the top 50. In 2017 he tied for 12th.
