Kiradech Aphibarnrat Arnold Palmer Invitational DraftKings
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO – MARCH 03: Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand on plays his shot from the third tee during the third round of World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship at Club de Golf Chapultepec on March 3, 2018 in Mexico City, Mexico. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images) /

Kiradech Aphibarnrat has been something of an all-or-nothing bet over the past several weeks. He finished 27th in the Maybank Championship at the end of February, then turned right around and won the ISPS Handa Super 6 Perth. He made the trip to PGA National, but finished 68th at the Honda Classic. One week later? He’s in the top five at the WGC-Mexico Championship, in one of the strongest fields so far this year.

It’s that kind of gambler’s nature that makes Aphibarnrat such an intriguing pick in daily fantasy this week. When you look at his overall record recently, though, you have to admit, the highs are way more impressive than the lows are unnerving.

Overall, the big-hitting, big-living 28-year-old is hot right now, and when you combine that with his history at Bay Hill, you’ve got a fantastic value pick.

Apibarnrat has played the Arnold Palmer Invitational just twice in his career, making his debut in 2015, and returning in 2016. In each of those two starts, he finished tied for sixth place. Clearly the comfort level is there. Better yet, he’s got just one round over par in eight attempts, and he’s posted a round of seven-under 65 both times, as well.

At just $7,900 in DraftKings play, you’re looking at a potentially massive return on a very modest investment. Don’t let this one pass you by.
