Luke List hasn’t been a household name on the PGA TOUR – yet. Now in his fourth year at the game’s highest level, he’s enjoying a career season, and we’re not even past the Masters yet. Speaking of that most prestigious of majors, List is looking to make his first trip back down Magnolia Lane since 2005, when he was the runner-up in the U.S. Amateur.

The Seattle native is playing the role of road warrior this season to high effect. Despite a couple of missed cuts early this year at the Sony Open and CareerBuilder Challenge, List has run off five straight starts inside the top-30. He was just one stroke away from finishing off the Honda Classic in regulation, before falling to Justin Thomas in a one-hole playoff.

List is an absolute bomber off the tee, with his 318.5-yard average ranking third on TOUR. However, he’s more than just pure power, ranking 17th in strokes gained tee-to-green, and 25th in adjusted scoring.

At 69th in the world, List doesn’t necessarily need a win to get inside the top-50, but that automatic invitation to Augusta is certainly motivation enough to keep him pushing through the week. He was remarkably consistent at Bay Hill in his debut last season, posting 71-71-72-71 to finish T-17. He’s ready to make a much bigger move this time around. Take advantage of this while the price is still right.
