Daniel Berger’s on the cusp of putting together a really nice week. Safely in the Masters field, Berger can focus on trying to land a win at a site of past success while also trying to get over the hump in 2018.

The 24-year-old has two T14 and two T11 finishes and only one missed cut in 2018, but has yet to contend. In Houston, he’s finished T25, T5 and 5 the past three years.

He’s a combined 32-under-par in his 12 rounds at Houston Golf Club. Last season, Berger was top-30 in strokes gained approaching the green and tee to-green. Those numbers have dipped some this season, but this venue offers Berger a good chance to right the ship.
