DraftKings fantasy golf players will love this week’s play at the Houston Open. One week ahead of the Masters, a star-studded field will make things interesting deep in the heart of Texas.

The Houston Open is here once again, and daily fantasy players can rejoice. Even without a title sponsor for the first time since 1986, the event’s placement on the calendar ensures that it hosts a truly elite field. That means that DFS players, especially on DraftKings, will have a nearly limitless set of options as they set their lineups.

The Masters being up next does exclude a handful of top players from the field, of course. We won’t see the likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, or Dustin Johnson teeing it up deep in the heart of Texas. However, we’ve got more than enough players who are looking for a tune-up ahead of Augusta, as well as a few who can still punch their ticket with a big enough week.

This week, we’ll look at five of the best value picks you can put in your lineup, at a variety of salary levels. These are the type of players who have the potential to help you win your weekly game, without totally crippling your cap potential. As much as I’d love to build a roster with Justin Rose ($11,400), Jordan Spieth ($11,100) and Henrik Stenson ($10,500), the reality is that’s just not possible.

Decisions must be made, and that’s where we come in to help. As always, we’re using DraftKings standard fantasy pricing and rules. You may need to adjust pricing if you play on a different site, but the general ideas will carry over, regardless. And, as always, these are simply our suggestions – your team, your calls.

With no further ado, let’s get started on this week’s DraftKings picks.
