RBC Heritage Power Rankings: Top 10 picks at Harbour Town
Marc Leishman has become one of the more consistent players on Tour over the past few years. He’s been slump proof without any big dips of late. He’s got four top-10s in 2018 now, including a recent T7 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Leishman tied for ninth at the RBC Heritage in 2013. He’s got five top-50s here but is looking to get over the hump at this event.
He’ll be more accurate than normal (161st in fairways) with lesser clubs in his hand this week. Leishman is 20th in strokes gained around the green and is a solid putter when he’s going well.
Leishman is a good wind player going back to his days growing up in breezy Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia.
“Growing up, I was always one who liked to curve the ball both ways and you need that at Harbour Town,” Leishman was quoted by the Australian Associated Press in 2017. “The greens are really small, so you also need a great short game.”
