A Spanish theme for the final five picks continues here. Jorge Campillo may not be a household name worldwide, but if you watch the European Tour regularly, you’re well familiar with this 28-year-old from Caceres.

Campillo is positioned to climb inside the world top 100, which he could parlay into a PGA Championship appearance down the road this summer. He is still seeking his first major championship start.

He’s gotten to this position by claiming five finishes of T27 or better in his six starts in 2018. Campillo was runner-up by two shots at the Maybank Championship and T4 at the NBO Oman Open.

Campillo is 31st on the European Tour in greens in regulation and is 11th in strokes gained putting. Centro Nacional doesn’t have much thick rough, so as long as Campillo’s wayward driver doesn’t find too many native areas or water that flank some holes, he should be in good shape.

Surprisingly, Campillo’s never won an event in his half-decade on the Tour.
