NEW DELHI, INDIA – MARCH 08: Wade Ormsby of Australia tees off on the 6th hole during day one of the Hero Indian Open at Dlf Golf and Country Club on March 8, 2018 in New Delhi, India. (Photo by Matthew Lewis/Getty Images) /

Wade Ormsby’s playing with house money.

The journeyman Australian locked up his European Tour card with a win in the season’s first event, the UBS Hong Kong Open, back in November.

Ormsby’s since added a T9 at the Australian PGA Championship and picked up a T25 in his last start at the Hero Indian Open.

He’s one of the European Tour’s more accurate drivers, hitting nearly three-fourths of his greens in regulation, good for 11th. Despite being one of the shorter hitters, Ormsby’s short game (25th in strokes gained around-the-green), helps to cure a lot of ails.

He  tied for 34th in his only trip to Royal Dar es Salam in 2017.
