Maybe Pablo Larrazabal just wanted a weekend off for once? He snapped an impressive streak of five cuts made in a row last week at the Trophee Hassan II.

Larrazabal is doing more than making the weekend. He has three top-fives and a T21 this season. He finished top-three twice last season, too, but is seeking his first European Tour win since 2015.

Topwin seems like a good venue for Larrazabal to get back in the winner’s circle.

He finished one back of the Alexander Levy/Dylan Frittelli playoff in 2017 to earn solo third. Larrazabal was tough on the greens (fourth in the field in putts per round) last year and is 19th in strokes gained putting in 2018.

This European Tour veteran isn’t an elite talent, but he’s steady in all facets and should do well at a reasonably sized course.
