This Dutchman is flying high. Luiten, a winner by two at February’s Oman Open, is fresh off of consecutive T9 finishes at the Indian Open and Trophee Hassan II.

Luiten was also T11 at the Maybank and was solo runner-up behind Sergio Garcia late in 2017.

With six wins by the age of 32, Luiten’s one of the most decorated players in this week’s field.

He’d like to improve on solid, if not spectacular, finishes at the China Open in recent years: T44 in 2016 and T31 in 2017.

Luiten is accurate off the tee (32nd in accuracy) and with his irons (13th in strokes gained approach-the-green). His precision will be key for proper placement on these greens.

He’s missed just one cut since October, so Luiten is a safe bet to produce in all four rounds.
