After the birth of his son Luke last year, Peterson has been quoted as saying “Now that I’m a dad, I hate the travel part of this. I’m not ever going to be the ‘FaceTime’ dad, ever”

How do you go on the road for 35 weeks a year when you have a cutie like this at home? Peterson has been quoted extensively saying that he doesn’t want to be a ‘Facetime Dad’ and if he doesn’t retain his card, he has had a good run.

Back in January, Peterson shared the following with the Associated Press.

"“I’ve never felt this relaxed on the golf course,” Peterson said. “I told my wife, ‘You know, I’ve had a few good years out here, and I don’t want to do this forever. Now that I’m a dad, I hate the travel part of this. I’m not ever going to be the ‘FaceTime’ dad, ever. So if it doesn’t work out these eight events, I’ll probably be done. That’s why I don’t have a sponsor and all that. But if it works out, I’ll keep going.”"

Peterson seems to have made peace with the fact that if he doesn’t earn enough everything will be alright, and that seems to have freed up his golf game.
