Beau Hossler’s having a very steady 2018. In his first full season on Tour, the 23-year-old former Texas Longhorn has made 10 of 13 cuts. He had the Houston Open in his sights en route to a solo second.

Hossler is based in Dallas and practices regularly at home course Trinity Forest.

He has good short game numbers this season and gains nearly half a stroke on the field per round with the putter. Hossler’s occasional waywardness off the tee should be neutralized by the wide open layout and his course knowledge.

He’s won at every level he’s played from his days as a junior, to a collegian and as a pro on the Web.com Tour. His best days may still lay ahead, but he’s good enough to win right now.
