Branden Grace has four top-25s at the BMW PGA, though he’s best known for his questionable drop in a bunker during the 2017 playing.

You can judge for yourself here:

One way to make people forget about the bunker fiasco is by winning.

The South African has played the weekend in all five trips to England with a solid T9 last year. A Sunday 73 kept him from joining the conversation down the stretch.

Grace also comes in off of a great week at the PGA Tour’s AT&T Byron Nelson where he finished T3 thanks in part to a closing 62.

A new driver in the bag helped him hit 47 of 56 fairways at Trinity Forest. Granted, Wentworth’s aim points will be much smaller, but a little confidence with the big stick can’t hurt.

Grace has the ability to grind out rounds as well as go low when everything’s clicking. His short game (eighth on the PGA Tour in strokes gained around the green) and putting (sixth SG) will help him keep steady if the weather is uncooperative.
