Adam Hadwin deserves a lot more credit than he’s getting this week on DraftKings. And that’s a fantastic thing for the intrepid daily fantasy golf player, such as yourself. The 30-year-old Canadian comes in with the bargain basement price tag of just $7,600 at Colonial, and frankly, you’re simply not going to find many better values in the field than this.

One of the building blocks of a solid fantasy roster is finding players you can trust to be around on the weekend. I don’t care how many birdies a player drops through two rounds, if he heads home early, he’s not going to help you win any contests. Hadwin has been an absolute machine in that category, going a perfect 14-for-14 so far this season.

Better yet, he’s not just sticking around to hack up the course over the final 36 holes. Of those 14 made cuts, Hadwin has finished in the top-25 seven times, with a trio of top-ten finishes earlier this year.

Hadwin is a rare case of a player getting more experience at Colonial, while his results have been trending slightly down. He finished fifth here in his 2015 debut, 22nd in 2016, and 53rd last year. Statistically, though, Hadwin’s work on approach is significantly better in 2018 than it was one season ago. He’s jumped from about 65 percent of greens in regulation up to approximately 70 percent this year.

You’ll need to find some lower-priced value picks this week, and Hadwin fits the mold almost perfectly. Look for yet another solid outing from him at Colonial.
