You guys knew the Justins had to be coming eventually, right? We’ll start with the Thomas variety.

Justin Thomas is your world No. 1 thanks to a blistering 2017 and ’18. He won five times last year and is poised for another multi-win year.

He already won the Honda Classic and has three more top-10s to boot. Not only has Thomas not missed a cut since July, he has yet to finish worse than T21 in a full field event.

Thomas will be as rested as any after two weeks off following a solid T11 at the PLAYERS.

Thomas appears to be figuring out Muirfield Village. His first three Memorial starts read T37-MC-MC before a T4 last year.

Thomas was in the title chase but settled with a Sunday 72.

"“I love the course, it’s a place I really enjoy playing,” Thomas said in 2017. “It’s fun because you can go out and have runs like that. You can make ten birdies in a round. But if you’re not playing a good round, it’s a struggle. I enjoy courses like that…”"

You have to dig deep to find a poor stat for JT who is 42nd or better in all major strokes gained categories. If he’s finding fairways this week, great: He’s third in fairway from proximity. In the sand or rough? No problem. Thomas is 31st in sand saves and eighth in scrambling.so
