Yet again, another LSU Tiger wins a sectional, this time Luis Gagne. He had to win a coin flip at local qualifying to move on to sectionals.

A six-for-one playoff was held for the final spot and won by amateur Tyler Strafaci, a player at Georgia Tech

Cristian DiMarco, is the second alternate and is the son of former PGA Tour winner Chris DiMarco.

Andy Zhang, an amateur at the University of Florida and Haskins award winner, was in the playoff.
