Five of the six qualifiers are amateurs in one of the less rigorous U.S. sectional qualifiers

Yu is a sophomore at Arizona State and is the No. 38 amateur in the world.

Ban is the No. 18 amateur in the world and a successful player at UNLV.

Rasmussen and Huang are outside the WAGR top 200.
