Cobra drivers with Arccos technology: Better than the mash up of peanut butter and chocolate
A few seasons ago, Arccos Golf created news in golf ball tracking methods with their system of sensors that plug into the top of each grip. Paired with a smart phone, the Arccos system provides a way to track the distance of all the shots you hit during a round.
Cobra decided that they would add an Arccos distance measuring device to their drivers. They have it in the King Cobra F8 and the F8+. You can get distance and accuracy measurements of all your drives at 40,000 courses. Is that a lot? The National Golf Foundation says there are 15,000 or so courses in the US and a little over 6,000 in Europe. So they have most courses covered.
The Arccos sensor is not the only new thing about the King F8 and F8+. The new CNC milled face is a design that looks like a golf ball shape. They say it is thinner face and has a bigger sweet spot than the F7. The look of it is rather awesome, like something a superhero would use. Rickie Fowler is using the F8+ but probably not the measuring device. He can get already distance and accuracy stats from Shotlink. The F8 and the F8+ are $399. https://www.cobragolf.com/golf-clubs/drivers
