The smile on Bryson’s face is the sign of a confident, poised golfer. The Scientist is coming into his own leading up to the U.S. Open, most recently in a win in his last start two weeks ago against a loaded field at the Memorial.

In 2018, the 24-year-old has racked up five top-five finishes and has soared to No. 8 in the American Ryder Cup points list. With six top-10s, DeChambeau is tied for third on the PGA Tour.

DeChambeau held up well against a tough U.S. Open test in 2016 at Oakmont (T15).

Among the bombers, DeChambeau hits it rather straight for his distance (12th in strokes gained off the tee) and is great hitting from the fairway (29th in proximity) or the rough (36th).

He’s a solid 60th in strokes gained putting and gained over five shots on the field with the flat stick (or fat stick, based on his grip) at Muirfield Village.

To top it off, DeChambeau is 18th in par-4 scoring.

When things go south for DeChambeau, they can go south, but there’s no doubt he’s a talented cat after his storied amateur career is continuing into the professional ranks. Get him now on your daily fantasy team or bet slip before his value rises further.
