Chris Wood has showed well at this week’s course, finishing T3 in 2012 and T33 in 2014. He finished just one out of a playoff in 2012.

In 2018, Wood was in the mix to win at the Oman Open where he took solo second. Counting Oman, Wood’s made six of his last eight cuts.

He had a solid T13 at the Qatar Masters, a T27 at the BMW PGA Championship and a T36 at the Italian Open, a Rolex Series event.

Wood fits well into this second shot golf course, coming in at 47th in strokes gained approaching the green. He’s also 64th in SG putting.

Like so many on this list, Chris Wood is fresh for this event coming off of two weeks of rest.
