Hadley is making his debut at TPC Potomac as a PGA Tour host site, but not his course debut.

He was the runner-up at the 2013 Mid-Atlantic Championship on the Web.com Tour.

By the way he’s playing, he doesn’t look ready to go back to the Web anytime soon.

Hadley has 11 top-25s in the wraparound season including five top-10s. He’s cooled some in recent weeks with two missed cuts in a row, but a Friday 68 at the Travelers shows he’s not far off.

The 2014 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year is fifth in strokes gained on approaches, a stat that could be useful as he traverses this week’s rough and sloped greens.

Hadley is 17th in par-4 scoring and 22nd in bounce back percentage. Resiliency is key at a place like TPC Potomac where there are bogeys to be made.

This will be his third start in as many weeks, though he’s made the cut playing in the third week in a row each of the last three instances.
