A pair of top-10s in recent weeks, as well as in recent years at the Open de France, makes RCB an attractive pick.

The Spaniard finished fifth at Le Golf National in 2015 and fourth in 2016. He did not play in 2017. For his career at this event, Cabrera Bello has made his last five cuts and six of nine total.

In 2018, he’s made 11 of 13 cuts with four top-10s between the European Tour and PGA Tour.

Cabrera Bello finished T17 at the PLAYERS Championship, T8 at the BMW PGA Championship and solo fourth at the Italian Open.

He took last week off after a respectable T36 at the U.S. Open.

Cabrera Bello is 18th in strokes gained putting on the European Tour and is 83rd or better in the rest of the main strokes gained categories.

Two career wins seems too few for RCB at this point. It’s about time he gets it done on Sunday.

He’s in 10th in the European Ryder Cup standings, so a big week could go a long way.
