Andy Sullivan was a Ryder Cup member in 2016 and is in fine form lately, yet the Englishman is in need of a big week (or weeks) if he wants to ensure the Open de France isn’t his last time at Le Golf National in 2018.

Sullivan is 31st in points and will need to get inside the top 15 to have a realistic shot at getting a captain’s selection.

A couple more months of how he’s been playing with a win or two tossed in is the recipe.

Sullivan has made 16 cuts in a row dating back to fall 2017. In that span he’s finished outside the top 50 in just three events. Recently, he finished in the top 10 in four of his last five starts.

Le Golf National is a comfortable place for Sullivan. He’s finished T26-T6-T5-T13 from 2014-17 where he’s a cumulative 7-under-par. That’s more impressive than it may seem.

Sullivan is seventh in strokes gained off the tee, 37th in GIR and 27th in SG putting.

If you need a player in your DFS or fantasy lineup to at least just make the cut, Sullivan’s a great play.
