Military Tribute at The Greenbrier: Power Rankings for TPC Old White
With four top-10s and more solid finishes, Tony Finau is poised to get in the win column this season.
His last start saw him compete in the final group in a U.S. Open where he finished solo second. Mix in a T10 at Augusta, a T2 at Riviera and a T6 at Torrey Pines and there isn’t a big-time course or field he can’t compete against.
The big-hitting Finau also has high finishes to boast about here at the Greenbrier. He was T13 in 2015 and T7 in 2017 and is a cumulative 20-under with all eight rounds rounds in the 60s.
Finau is 18th in strokes gained tee to green and will give Bubba a run for his money as this week’s long driver.
Finau also has an underrated short game (42nd SG around the green) and is making slow strides with the putter.
He’s also 15th in par breakers, so a birdie fest that the Greenbrier tends to produce fits right in with his go-for-broke style.
