The John Deere Classic has been good to Kyle Stanley’s wallet over the years. Now it’s time for it to be good to his trophy case.

Stanley is 7-for-8 in cuts made at TPC Deere Run including a solo second in 2011 and four top-25s.

After a resurgent 2017, Stanley continues good form in 2018.  He has seven top-25s including a T2 at the Memorial and a trip to the WGC-Match Play quarterfinals.

Stanley’s game suits this event well. He is efficient tee to green and can win here without having to do too much on the greens.

He’s fourth in fairways found and fifth in greens in regulation on Tour. Stanley is also having one of his best putting seasons (43rd in strokes gained).

If he can dial it in a bit better from 100-150 yards, he’ll be in for a strong week at a course he knows as well as any.
