James Hahn is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, and at reputable events to boot (2015 Northern Trust, 2016 Wells Fargo). He just has been enigmatic in his play.

When he’s on, he can win anywhere and make lots of money doing it. Hahn made nine straight cuts between 2017-18 before missing five in a row this summer.

Hahn’s turned it around to make three of his last four cuts with results of T45 (St. Jude), T36 (Travelers) and T60 (Quicken Loans) all in a row. The Californian’s best golf came on the West Coast swing.

Hahn’s best result of 2017-18 was a solo second at the Sony Open which preceded a couple more top-25s.

Statistically, Hahn is a solid, yet unspectacular player all-around. He’s got above average length and should be able to reach any of the par-5s this week.

Hahn had to grind it out for his two wins on Tour, but I could see him taking it low this week.
