Another major, another high finish for Tommy Fleetwood. He was in the mix to win through 54 holes and had one of the best rounds of the tournament, a Friday 65, on the way to a T12.

The Englishman also finished T17 at the Masters and shot 63 on Sunday at the U.S. Open to surge to solo second.

He’s had an extraordinary 2018 overall, recording a win on the European Tour in Abu Dhabi as par of five total top-10s in 16 starts.

This will be Fleetwood’s Canadian Open debut.

Unlike many on this list, Fleetwood did not play the week before the Open (he took two weeks off), so he should be as fresh as any of the top picks this week.

On the season, Fleetwood is 13th in strokes gained tee to green, 18th around the green and is above Tour average in approaches and putting.

He’s regarded as one of the game’s best ball strikers, but is proving he’s got all the tools.

Fleetwood is 23rd in sand saves, is long off the tee and is one of the hottest players in the world this summer.
