Paul Casey continues to tear it up in 2018. He arrives to Green Eagle having made five cuts in a row, including a T5 at the Wells Fargo Championship and a T2 at the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour.

The Englishman’s finished inside the top 20 in 14 of his last 17 starts. Just remarkable stuff.

This will be his debut at Green Eagle.

Casey should also be fresh compared to the rest of the field; he took three weeks off prior to a T51 at the Open last week.

He is above PGA Tour average in each main strokes gained category including sixth in approaches and 16th around the green. Casey is also 14th in par-5 scoring. His combination of length and accuracy will help him when the pressure’s on as three of the final four holes are par-5s.

It was a toss-up between Patrick Reed and Paul Casey, but I’ll ride with the European to win the European Open.
