Charl Schwartzel played nicely at the 2017 Porsche European Open, tying for 12th thanks to two rounds in the 60s.

He was accurate off the tee and putted well that week.

This year on the PGA Tour, Schwartzel has been solid between 50-125 yards (55th) and can also play from the rough if he needs to (41st in proximity).

He proved he can still compete with the world’s best like he did at the 2011 Masters. Schwartzel finished T2 at the PLAYERS Championship and also posted a T9 at the Wells Fargo Championship in a pair of prestigious PGA Tour events.

You might not get great value this week on Schwartzel given his brand name, but to me, he’s worth a shot.
