Bryson DeChambeau had to withdraw from the John Deere Classic two weeks ago with a right shoulder injury. The young American rested up and was able to post a T51 at the Open.

Assuming he’s back to or near 100 percent health, DeChambeau is a great pick this week given prior form.

He won on the PGA Tour for the second year in a row by triumphing at the Memorial. In the 2017-18 season, DeChambeau has 10 top-25s including a runner-up at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T3 at the RBC Heritage and solo fourth at the Wells Fargo.

He also has gone 3-for-3 in cuts made at the majors highlighted by a T25 at the U.S. Open.

DeChambeau has one of the more well-rounded games in the field this week. He’s a positive on the PGA Tour in each of the main strokes gained categories.

He’s 15th in strokes gained tee to green and 50th in SG putting.
