Rickie is a top-10 machine at the WGC-Bridgestone. He’s achieved the feat four years in a row and has done it five times in eight starts when you add in a T2 finish in 2011.

He rolls in to Akron having made six cuts in a row, all T28 or better with two top-10s.

He also was solo second at the Masters and won the Hero World Challenge in December. Fowler’s seeking his first official win on the PGA Tour since the 2017 Honda Classic.

Fowler is one of the more well rounded players in the world evidenced by marks of 64th or better in all main strokes gained categories. He’s 24th in SG tee to green and 16th in scrambling.

Fowler would like to get back to how he showed he can putt last year (64th now, second in 2016-17).

He’s not a prototypical bomber, but Fowler’s got all the tools to bust through at the Bridgestone.
