The Wyndham Championship is a special tournament for Brandt Snedeker. The seven-time PGA Tour winner picked off his first in 2007 at Forest Oaks. Although the tournament moved on to Sedgefield a year later, Snedeker has continued to play well in the Tar Heel state.

Snedeker has played in this event every year since 2007 save for last year when he was out with a rib injury. The Tennessean is 7-for-9 making the weekend at Sedgefield with four top-10s including a T3 in 2016.

Snedeker set what was then the course record 9-under 61 in 2015.

"“You definitely have to have a short iron game around here is really, really important,” Snedeker said in 2016. “You got to think your way around here extremely well. You got to roll some putts in.”"

Snedeker has three top-10s and seven top-25s this season, including a T8 a few weeks ago in Canada. He also made the cut at the U.S. Open and PGA Championship.

The 37-year-old is 26th on Tour in strokes gained around the green and 35th in putting.  His ballstriking numbers aren’t great, but hitting it close is really just a bonus for Sneds. He should post good scores this week even if he has to scramble a bit to do it.
