Joakim Lagergren is one of a handful of 2018 European Tour winners teeing it up this week. The 27-year-old Stockholm native picked up his first win in a playoff in May at the Sicilian Open.

Lagergren is having a nice season with a T3 at the Trophee Hassan as part of four top-25s in just 14 starts this season.

He ought to be well-prepared for this event seeing as he’s been off the last four weeks. Before his vacation, Lagergren posted T12 at the Irish Open and T23 at the Scottish Open, both Rolex Series events.

Lagergren is 15th on the European Tour in sand saves and is gaining strokes on the field off the tee and on approaches.

He’s made four of six cuts at the Nordea Masters including a solo sixth in 2012.
