Nordea Masters: Power ranking the top 10 at Hills Golf and Sports Club
Lucas Bjeregaard has cooled off some late in the summer, but it’s hard to ignore his overall body of work in 2018.
After the Dane broke through for his first European Tour victory in 2017, he’s followed it up so far with four top-10s in 16 starts.
The 26-year-old is much like pal and countryman Thorbjorn Olesen in his ability to pile up birdies. He’s 10th in birdies per round (4.38).
Bjerregaard is 52nd in strokes gained off the tee and 30th in greens in regulation. He’s got enough length in the bag and is above average around the greens.
Like a lot of guys on the list, it’s about how many putts fall. Good thing is, Bjerregaard should give himself lots of birdie tries.
He’s made the cut in all four Nordea Masters starts. Perhaps he’ll have some red and white in the crowd cheering him on this week.
