I’m going to temporarily end the run on Scandinavians to include Englishman Mattew Southgate.

The 29-year-old isn’t far from picking up his first career European Tour win.

Southgate has nine career top-10s in his career including a T5 recently at a Rolex Series event, the Open de France. His 65 on Sunday tied for the low round of the day.

He comes in having made four cuts in a row that includes the T5 as well as a T23 at the Scottish Open, another Rolex event.

Southgate can stripe the ball. He’s sixth in greens in regulation and 20th in strokes gained on approaches.

Southgate made the cut at last year’s Nordea Masters.
