The regular season on the European Tour is dwindling down as this week’s stop is in Prague for the D+D Real Czech Masters

This week’s tournament is the real deal. The D+D Real Czech Masters returns to Albatross Golf Resort for the fifth straight year.

The fine folks in Prague have seen four players from four different nations claim the title, the most well known of the quartet being 2016 European Ryder Cup member, Thomas Pieters.

Speaking of the Ryder Cup, this week is the penultimate week to earn European Ryder Cup points, so pretty much all the hopeful players are teeing it up this week.

Some star power is sapped as the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs begin this week, but a solid field is still in the mix.

Albatross has hosted all five years of this event and is a 7,467-yard par 72.

It’s a long, but exposed course that lends itself well to bombers.

There could be some rain on Friday, but otherwise the forecast looks benign with warm temperatures and minimal wind.

Par-5 scoring is a stat to watch as the first two tournament winners led in that category.

Winning scores have been 13-under or better each time so if you’ve got a birdie maker you like, go ahead and pull the trigger.

Let’s take a look at who will cash a big check at the Czech Masters:
